Assistant Account Manger

Fast pace Fashion and Home Accessory wholesale Company seeks an Assistant Account Manager who will work closely and train with the Account Managers in managing accounts.  The Assistant Account Manager will provide administrative support and occasional analytical projects.  Duties would include but not limited to:

Job Responsibilities

  • Drop ship order entry, invoicing, inventory updates, manage CA & Return Authorization requests
  • Order price tickets and make sure they arrive to overseas factories within required deadlines
  • Assist with building closeout sheets & new season line sheets
  • Item specs / new item set-ups forms
  • Coordinate samples for appointments and style outs
  • Schedule market appointments
  • work closely with the warehouse and compliance team to manage shipping of orders and deadlines
  • Work with compliance team to resolve shipping problems – refusals, carrier problems, freight charge issues
  • Maintain orders for key accounts– ensuring punctual shipments, expedient processing of special/additional orders throughout the season
  • Allocate and propose all orders advising key sales team of any discrepancies and shipping issues
  • Review vendor compliance violations and distribute to appropriate party with all supporting documentation. Submit violation disposition to Account Receivable Manager for collection of payment
  • Process all EDI and non EDI orders in Oak Street (internal software program), print reports and forward problems to account managers.

Proficient Microsoft suite – Work, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint



Bachelors Degree

Min 1-2 years work experience in the fashion or gift industry
